In my current role as an Operations Lead at Infosys with a global pharma and consumer healthcare client, I am responsible for managing their Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) operations from our India Delivery Center.

I have 18+ years of experience in the S&P domain across the manufacturing industry. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduation in Business Administration, I started my career, as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a hydraulic gear pump manufacturing unit, learning the basics of machining, metrology, quality assurance & ISO/TS certification models. Over the next 6 years, I worked across various procurement functions including vendor development, costing and global sourcing.

A 9-year stint at one of the largest automotive OEMs helped me gain invaluable procurement experience: from lead-buyer for global chassis & suspension commodities and leading a team of procurement professionals to maximizing auto component exports from India and managing the aftermarket purchase of a renowned global brand.

My passion to explore and further develop my skillsets led me to join Infosys 3 years ago to explore the services industry and gain opportunities to front-end with customers. In this role, I am able to apply my procurement learnings in making a positive difference to the procurement strategy for the client organization and share best practices.
