Geoff Brown

QLD Practice Leader

Geoff brings over 15 years of experience leading procurement and process improvement programs across Europe and Australasia in the resource, construction, pharmaceutical, FMCG and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Portland Group, Geoff held a number of operations and procurement leadership roles with Rio Tinto's Aluminium division in Australia, GlaxoSmithKline (UK), and Fosters Group. Since joining Portland in 2010, Geoff has led multiple strategy development, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and outsourcing programs for major government and private sector organisations. He has also led both the Perth and Brisbane offices. Geoff holds a degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Queensland and an MBA from IESE in Barcelona Spain and London Business School.
