Dependra Mathur

Senior Vice President and Global Head – HRD, Infosys BPM

Dependra Mathur is the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Human Resources Development (HRD), and a member of the Executive Council of Infosys BPM. He is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in HRD and 14 years in business management.

In his current role as Head of HRD, he is responsible for all aspects of talent management globally across the organization and its subsidiaries. Over the last 17 years at Infosys, Dependra has managed various key HRD functions, including Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Planning, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Diversity & Inclusion. An accomplished HRD professional, he has led the organization’s efforts on people management, while winning and executing many large M&A deals over the years. With a strong focus on centers spread across the globe, he has led, developed, and executed several people integration programs, while also helping strengthen compliance, talent processes, and HR systems.

Dependra has worked with Wipro, WeP Peripherals, and Tata Motors, before joining Infosys BPM in 2006.

Dependra has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and has done Electrical Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur. He has also completed the Infosys Global Leadership Program from Stanford University, Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School Certificate Program on Disruptive Strategy, and is a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors.
