Event Overview
Infosys BPO is a Gold sponsor at Eurasia's 3rd Shared Service and BPO GCR-Congress 2008. The conference focuses on F&A, HR, IT and Procurement, and Shared Services in the Greater China region. Michel discusses value creation in a shared services environment with the help of Philips' example where Infosys BPO acquired three Philips F&A global shared services centers in a landmark deal which saw over 1,400 employees joining Infosys. The presentation focuses on analyzing the key factors contributing to achieving mutual benefits and a long-term win-win partnership.

Michel discusses value creation for (indirect) procurement function in a shared services environment leveraging the Philips' case study and speaks on how knowledge services benefit indirect procurement.

Speaker Profiles

Michel has over 14 years of experience in setting up and running global Shared Services. Prior his position at Infosys BPO, Michel was the Senior Vice President at Royal Philips, in charge of Global Finance Shared Services. At Philips, he implemented a global captive organization of more than 2000 FTEs, generating 25% of savings for Philips and reaching world-class cost status. He was the Co-Chair of the European Shared Services Council of the Conference Board from 2004 to 2007.

Allen manages Infosys BPO's three delivery centers in Asia Pacific - China, Philippines, and Thailand. As a member of Infosys BPO's Executive Council, he drives corporate strategy as well as business initiatives. Allen is also an Executive Council member of Infosys Technologies in China. He has over 10 years of experience in investment banking covering equity capital market as well as M&A activities for Asia Pacific clients. Allen is a certified CPA from New York, USA.
