Infosys BPO wins the 2013 Bersin & Associates WhatWorks® Award for optimizing talent management
Bersin by Deloitte delivers research-based people strategies designed to help leaders and their organizations in their efforts
to deliver exceptional business performance. Their WhatWorks® membership gives Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 HR professionals
the information and tools they need to design and implement leading practice solutions, benchmark against others, develop
their staff, and select and implement systems. The new Bersin & Assocates WhatWorks(R) Awards program is a bigger,
bolder version of the popular research-driven awards that recognize innovation and excellence in critical areas of HR,
learning and talent.
Bersin awarded Infosys BPO for optimizing talent management based on the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt methodology project, led
by the Internal Job Posting (IJP) team. This project helped reassess and identify the areas of development in internal
job postings – namely policy, process, and technology. As a result, Infosys BPO has seen an improvement in talent retention,
an increase in internal placements, and reduction in the cycle time for internal hiring. The increasing internal career
opportunities not only made IJP one of the avenues to build a ‘career for life’ at Infosys BPO, but have also helped develop
a multi-skilled workforce.
