The Responsible Intelligence Confluence (RICON) 2026, a pre-summit event to the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, organized by the Nasscom Responsible AI Hub, brought together senior policymakers, government leaders, industry CXOs, researchers, and civil society representatives to advance the dialogue on responsible AI governance and deployment. Themed ‘Securing Intelligence for a Safer Tomorrow’, the confluence focused on key dimensions shaping the future of AI, including global cooperation for responsible AI, trustworthy AI systems, and AI governance spanning policy and strategy, with an emphasis on driving meaningful impact for both public good and industry.

At the roundtable on ‘AI & Standards: How Organizations Can Govern AI Across Its Full Lifecycle’, Bipin Nambiar, AVP – Senior Delivery Manager (Infosys BPM) delved into the discussion on how organizations can operationalize ‘Responsible AI’ by moving from abstract principles to a full lifecycle governance model tailored to the Indian ecosystem. The discussion highlighted the need to balance AI innovation with robust controls, adopting an Indian lens on global frameworks, and reinforced a shared view that AI governance should prioritize use cases and outcomes, rather than regulating technology in isolation.

The Nasscom Agentic AI Confluence 2025, themed at ‘AI 3.0: Agents that Explore, Explain, Execute’, convened enterprises, technology leaders, and policy stakeholders to explore the future potential of autonomous systems, governance, and scalable innovation.

At the roundtable on ‘Data Strategy & Governance’, Manjunath Shankaranarayan, Senior Domain Principal (Infosys BPM) contributed perspectives alongside leaders from global aerospace, automotive, retail, and omnichannel commerce sectors. The discussion highlighted that strong data foundations are critical to building trustworthy, scalable, and enterprise-grade intelligent systems. Our participation emphasized practical approaches to governance, resilience, and enablement required to drive responsible innovation.
