Infosys BPO building in Jaipur wins National Energy Conservation Award 2012

Government of India, Ministry of Power, has conferred on Infosys BPO the first prize for energy conservation in the BPO Building Category at the ‘National Energy Conservation Award 2012’. Infosys BPO received the award from Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, President of India, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

In 2010, the Infosys BPO building in Jaipur was rated at 'Platinum' level by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), and is one of the largest platinum-rated buildings in India.

Platinum certification is the highest level of green building certification under the Indian Green Building Council's LEED rating system. LEED Green Building System is an internationally acknowledged benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
