Infosys BPO wins National Institution for Quality and Reliability Awards
Infosys BPO has won gold and silver awards at the Lean Six Sigma case study competition conducted by the National Institution for Quality and Reliability (NIQR). Infosys BPO was recognized in the Six sigma DMAIC IT/ITES categories for its project team’s rigorous deployment of structured methodology and application of appropriate statistical tools.
Started in 1987, NIQR is devoted to the promotion of excellence in quality through research, consulting, training, and workshops on quality and reliability. This year the NIQR case study competition, held on April 24 and 25, 2014 at Bangalore, saw 17 entries from global corporations. Infosys BPO won two gold awards, one for a project on reduction of forced churn for a telecom client, and another for reduction of cycle time for a financial services client. Infosys BPO was also recognized with a silver award for reduction of non-profitable circuits for a telecom client.
