Uma Sankar is the Vice President & Head – OD, Leadership Development, and EMEA HR at Infosys BPM. In this role, she leads organizational design and key talent management initiatives, including performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, succession planning, and change management. She also oversees the HR function for the EMEA region, working closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Previously, Uma served as the Head of Learning and Development at Infosys BPM. With over 28 years of experience in the IT industry, she has held global HR leadership roles at Capgemini, NIIT, and Computer Sciences Corporation.
Uma holds a degree in Electronics Engineering and has a strong affinity for technology. She has also earned a certificate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Change Practitioner and Coach. Passionate about learning and education, she continues to drive impactful HR and leadership initiatives.
