Infosys BPO and P&G win Alsbridge Innovation Award 2014

Infosys BPO and P&G jointly won the Alsbridge Innovation Award for master data management in the category ‘New Application / Platform- and Industry-specific solutions’. The innovation award was presented at a ceremony held in London on May 15, 2014.

The award is a recognition of the efforts of P&G and Infosys teams working together in the true spirit of transformation to deliver value and impact P&G’s end business metrics. The team leveraged platform optimization, consolidation and centralization, automation, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous process improvement to jointly develop and deploy a global data management solution. This solution had a strategic objective – to process in half the time, at half the cost and with zero defects (50/50/0). The Infosys BPO and P&G partnership also recently won Outsourcing Center’s Outsourcing Excellence 2014’ award in the ‘Most Collaborative’ category.

P&G Associate Director, Global GDS Service Delivery Leader, Adnan Behmen said, “Over the years, P&G has strengthened the relationship with Infosys in the area of master data management, increasing service lines and adding new regions. The innovations of Infosys and P&G in this area have delivered tangible benefits.”
