Infosys BPO wins second prize at CII Six Sigma case study competition
Infosys BPO won second place at the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) 8th national level competition on Six Sigma. The case study competition, which was held in Bangalore on September 25 and 26, saw fierce competition among various BPO companies. Infosys BPO won the second place in Process Improvement in the Services category for its project that helped its client improve sales performance of offshore teams.
CII is an association of Indian businesses that works towards creating an environment conducive to the growth of industry in the country. CII is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led, and industry-managed organization. CII launched the Six Sigma case study competition in 2007 to bring industries that are implementing this improvement methodology together on a common platform for cross-learning and continuous improvement.
